Icescape's ice rink is back near Weston at Puxton Park, 19 November to 3 January. Online from £8 a child and £10 an adult, skates included, free parking.
Weston-super-Mare has an ice rink again this Christmas, but not at the Tropicana. Icescape’s undercover real ice rink opens at Puxton Park, Hewish, on Thursday 19 November 2026 and runs to Sunday 3 January 2027. It is open every day except Christmas Day. Icescape calls Puxton Park its “new home”, ten minutes from the Tropicana where the rink used to be. (Icescape Puxton Park)

Tickets and prices
Icescape publishes “from” prices for 2026, in two columns: the Online Saver price, which applies when you book at least one day before you skate and carries no booking fee, and the Box Office price on the day. It says full session times and the final 2026 prices will be announced when tickets go on sale, and recommends booking online because sessions can sell out. (Icescape Puxton Park, what’s on)

What you need to know before you skate
These come from Icescape’s own answers to its frequently asked questions. (Icescape Puxton Park)
- Sessions last 45 minutes. If you booked online, go straight to the skate exchange with your tickets. In busy periods Icescape asks you to arrive at least 20 minutes early so your skates are fitted and you get your full time on the ice.
- Skate hire is included, from a baby size 4 (double-bladed) up to adult size 15. You can bring your own hockey or figure skates.
- Children: there is no minimum age, but small children must walk confidently on their own and support themselves on skating aids. Children aged 8 and under need an adult with a ticket on the ice with them. Children aged 9 to 12 need a responsible adult watching from the spectator area.
- Refunds: none unless Icescape cancels your session or the rink has to close. If you cannot make your slot, email puxtonpark@icescape.co.uk with your booking reference before the day and it will try to move you.
Getting there and parking
Icescape describes the rink as a separate ticketed attraction near the entrance to Puxton Park, reached through the farm shop. Parking is free and the car park is a short walk from the rink.
- By car: about half a mile from junction 21 of the M5; follow the A370 towards Congresbury and Bristol.
- By bus: the X1, X1a and X11 stop at the park entrance on the A370, about a ten-minute walk from reception.
- By train: the nearest main station is Weston-super-Mare, around 15 minutes away by taxi or car.

National Highways has roadworks on the M5 at junction 21, with a 50mph limit and southbound closures on weeknights. Our roadworks and travel page has the current dates, and our parking page covers the town-centre car parks if you are combining the rink with a trip into Weston.
Is it on this year?
Yes. Icescape’s own website gives the 2026 dates, 19 November to 3 January, and the 2026 “from” prices, and its early-bird tickets are on sale. Two things are not yet published: the daily session times, which Icescape says vary and will be on its booking page, and the final ticket prices, which it says will be confirmed when general sale opens. We will add both when they appear.
Puxton Park is busy at Christmas in its own right: it is running a Magical Christmas Adventure with Santa’s grotto on selected dates, a separate add-on to park entry. Our Santa’s grottos page and Christmas markets page have the rest of the season, and the lights switch-ons page has Clevedon’s on 20 November, the night after the rink opens.
